Fire separation method of glass curtain wall atrium

According to the fire characteristics of the atrium, in connection with the specific practices of atrium fire protection design of high-rise buildings at home and abroad, and referring to the rules of relevant foreign fire protection standards, each floor running through the atrium shall be calculated as a fire compartment. When its area is greater than the building area of relevant building fire compartments, the following fire separation methods shall be adopted:

(1) The doors and passages connecting the room and the atrium corridor shall be equipped with class B fire doors and windows to control the fire to extend to each floor;

(2) The hallways and passages connected with the atrium shall be separated by class B fire doors or fire rolling shutters with a fire resistance limit greater than 3H to control the extension and dispersion of fireworks to the hallways and passages;

(3) The ambulatory on each floor of the atrium shall be provided with an active water spray rescue system;

(4) The corridor on each floor of the atrium shall be equipped with an active fire alarm system and interlocked with smoke exhaust equipment and fire doors.
