In case of fire, it will not burst within a certain fire resistance time, so it can separate flame and smoke.

In this sense, it has fireproof function and belongs to class C fireproof glass. However, it has high thermal irradiance when heated, and the heat on the fire side will quickly radiate to the back fire side, which directly affects the fire prevention of the back fire side, so that its application is greatly limited. Strictly speaking, it is more appropriate to call this kind of fireproof glass "smoke proof glass".
