Where is fireproof glass used

Fireproof glass with different fire resistance performance and fire resistance limit shall be selected according to the application site:

1、 In the construction of internal fire partition wall, when fire-proof glass wall is selected, class a fire-proof glass with the same fire rating as the fire separation part shall be selected. When class C fireproof glass is selected, an active sprinkler system (i.e. protective cooling system) shall be set for protection.

2、 For the openings connecting the upper and base layers in the building (atrium, active escalator, open staircase, etc.), when the fireproof glass wall is selected, class a fireproof glass with a fire resistance limit of not less than 1h shall be selected (the fire resistance, heat insulation and fire integrity shall not be less than 1.00h). When class C fireproof glass with fire resistance limit not less than 1h is selected (fire resistance integrity not less than 1.00h), active sprinkler system (i.e. protective cooling system) shall be set for protection.

For the shops built on both sides of the (covered) pedestrian street, the enclosure components on the side facing the pedestrian street shall also comply with the above rules when the fireproof glass wall is selected.

3、 When it is really difficult to set solid walls and fire cornices between the upper and base openings of external walls, class C fire-proof glass walls can be set. The fire-resistant integrity of fire-proof glass walls built on high floors shall not be less than 1.00h, and that of fire-proof glass walls built on multiple floors shall not be less than 0.50h.
