Fireproof window refers to a window composed of steel window frame, steel window sash and fireproof glass, which can isolate and prevent the spread of fire.

Fixed fireproof window: fireproof window whose sash cannot be opened, i.e. sealed and fixed around.

Movable fireproof window: a fireproof window whose sash can be opened and can be closed under the action of the fireproof window opening and closing device.

Fire resistance limit:

Class a windows shall not be less than 1.5 hours, class B windows shall not be less than 1 hour, and class C windows shall not be less than 0.5 hours. According to the latest specification GB16809-2008 fire windows.

Materials and accessories:

(1) The window frame adopts steel frame or wood frame with certain strength to ensure the integrity and stability of components.

(2) Galvanized steel plate or stainless steel plate can be used for steel frame and strip. The material selection standard shall comply with Article 5.1 of gb12955 general technical conditions for steel fire doors.

(3) The material selection standard of wood frame and batten shall comply with Article 5.1.1 of gb14101 general technical conditions for wooden fire doors [1].

(4) The filling materials inside the steel and wood frames shall be non combustible materials.

(5) Fireproof glass can be selected products that do not affect the fire resistance performance of fireproof windows and pass the test. The light transmittance of glass shall not be less than 75% of ordinary flat glass with the same number of layers.

(6) The sealing material between the frame and fire-proof glass shall be flame retardant material, which can play the role of fire prevention and smoke separation in case of fire.

(7) The hardware fittings shall be the finalized supporting products that have passed the test.

(8) Fireproof window opening and closing device: it must have the function of temperature sensing and releasing window sash. At present, there are integrated (window closer) and split (fuse device) on the market;
